The Pickering Reading Circle has provided Educational support for over 30 years. An award winning, not-for-profit program offering Free tutoring and mentorship for success in education. We are committed to helping improve Education statistics, foster a love of learning and help individuals explore, awaken and live their full potential.
Our programs focuses on improving foundational skill sets for students, programs are centered on – literacy in English and French, numeracy, mentorship and social skill building.

Trained volunteers are dedicated to providing one-on-one or group tutoring and mentorship to vulnerable and at-risk individuals who are struggling with the foundational skill sets critical for success in school and in life.
Our goal and mission is to change the statistics of success in education and empower students to navigate life and become good contributing members of society.
